Hi
Once more, I am highlighting the same document with different colours (often more than one colour in the same sentence). At the moment I have to change the style with two clicks. I know that it is planned, that more than one colour can be placed in the toolbar at the same time. This will reduce the two clicks to one.
Now I thought, it might be an idea, if one could press a key while using the tool in order to change the colour. That would spare the click(s).
I'm not sure if this would proove handy.
Ernst

Re: Highlight Tool Colours
Hello Ernst,
We have a FR ticket where we are discussing the possible ways this could be changed, and one of the suggestions I have passed to our devs is to e.g. make the shortcut key for the currently selected tool toggle between the different styles for the same tool, or to have a dedicated next/prev style keys that are assigned separately and work for any tool - neither is confirmed as approved for implementation but we are considering them for sure.
Best,
Stefan

Re: Highlight Tool Colours
Any news on this issue? Your proposal was very good, but I'm not sure you have implemented it. For me this is a showstopper, in order to use the pdf-xchange viewer as a tool to annotate my pdfs in a quick way.
Thanks,
Pedro

Hello Pedro,
As you might have noticed - we are a bit late with releasing ver3 of our Viewer, and those FR suggestions I've made are to be considered for this version.
SO yes - for the moment this is not implemented, but lets see how ver3 will develop and we will be able to tell you more when we are closer to release (or when the beta version is available for testing).
Best,
Stefan

Re: Highlight Tool Colours
Hi Stefan / Hallo Stefan
I asked for this 3 years ago I think so. I am also the guy who asked you to implement the poss to use tabs more. Tab list and to open recent ones automatically and I asked you to allow the poss to save certain sets...
Thankfully you implemented some of those and PV is the best one for me but I am like all the others missing this enhanced annotation possibilties. To make use more easily of your own colorset (and a blacken one
would be great.

Re: Highlight Tool Colours
Thanks for the input here guys - it really is appreciated. The delays to V3 have had an impact on this also. All I can do at this point is ask for your continued your support for a little while longer as V3 really is close now.
Once V3 is released we will be in a much better position to determine when and how a thing like a multiple colours of the highlight tool might best be implemented.
I hope that helps.
