Can I place an image in an existing PDF?

Post by david hutton-squire »

I have just bought PDF-XChange viewer and tools. I see how to insert text into a PDF and am using that successfully.

Is there a way in either Viewerr or Tools to place an image into a PDF?
I wish to put a small image file (JPG) into a certain position on the PDF so that the next person to look at the PDF sees the placed image as if it were part of the document.

This is to save me printing the PDF, writing and drawing on it and then scanning the page back to PDF.

Thanks
Thanks,

You can simply paste any image from the Windows clipboard.

Open the Stamps palette and import the image as a stamp. Then you can place that in any PDF document.

A transparent PNG might be better than a JPG.

Thank you, Bhikkhu Pesala, that has solved the problem.

I have just accepted jpg non transparency for the moment. I need to research transparency settings a bit further sometime.

Thank you.
