Hi.
First of all I would like to point out that i just love this pdf viewer, since it is, along with blubeam, the smoothest available program for windows 7 tablets. However it is not perfect: I would like to see, that the programm works better with wacom digitizers, maybe similair to the way this has been realized in onenote: Finger touch is used for panning and zooming, while the digitizer is for writing realated tasks (maybe you guys could build in an option enabling the user to choose to what function the pen should be assigned to by standard). I personally have found it quite annoying to be forced to press the tiny buttons in the upper bar just to keep on panning through the document after having made a remark.
This leads me two my second yet last critique: Could you please build in an option, that permits the user to switch beteewn the standard interface and a "tablet" interface? It would be great if both interfaces could be set upindividually and switched in between, so that whe running the tablet\convertible in Notebook mode, one might stick back to the detailed standard view.
Thanks for your attention
PS: I hope I have posted this in the right forum, if not please tell me or move my thread. Thanks

Re: SUggestion: Inking feature
Hi Alceste,
thanks for the suggestion. We are always interested in hearing what our users want. I have passed this on to the development team. Being so close to a release (end of Spring is still our goal) it is unlikely that such features will make it into V3 - the intial release at least. This has been added to the formal "wish list" however so it will be considered in due course.

Hi again Alceste,
well do understand that this is not a promise to deliver the feature but is is a commitment to seriously looking into it.

The team have confirmed that this will be looked at after V3 is initially released, so if it does happen, and this is still not a promise that it will, it will be after V3 is released.

Re: SUggestion: Inking feature
haha you have a strange concept of a promise, but nevertheless your answer is very pleasing to me
Yet I have had another idea: I would love to see those commentary post-its to be able to be drawn or written on with a pen (this might come in handy if the margins in the document aren't to big)! Btw i totally gave up on Blubeam since their last release: it's far too demanding in terms of resources and thus cannot keep up with the smooth behavior of your pdf tool!
Keep up the good work!
yours Alceste
PS: thank you for your really committed support. As a user, I just love it when I get the feeling that developers take me seriously. You guys totally do that!

Hi, I totally agree with Alceste. It needs ro discriminate between touch an stylus input to make it fully tablet ready. Keep up the good work.

Hello neutronstar21,
And welcome to our forums!
If it's possible, and the device's drivers differentiate finger and stylus inputs - it's really likely that we will handle them as separate.
Best,
Stefan
