How to let highlighted text appear everywhere the same?

I have a pdf doc (e.g. the printed xchange viewer home page) where I highlight certain text as black text on red background. See this snapshot:

When I open the same pdf doc in a different pdf viewer (e.g. the well known FoxIt viewer) then the same highlighted text appears RED text on red background (see this snapshot 2:

Similarly with Acrobat Reader.

How can I achieve that highlighted text appears ALWAYS the same (e.g. black text on red backround) ?

Hi Matt,

It should be appearing the same way in all the PDF Viewers. Can you please make sure that you are using the latest build of our Viewer, and if you are - please attach the sample file here so that we can have a look at it.

OK, no problem. Have a look at the attached pdf.
In Pdf Xchange Viewer the highlight text appears black font on red background (=ok).
In Foxit Reader (v5.0) the highlighted text appears red font on red background (=bad).

Hi mattad,

In Adobe Acrobat Pro it appears identical to that viewed in PDF-XChange Viewer so it would appear the issue is with how FoxIt is interpretting the highlight when they render the page.
