Hi,
first of all, this is a feature request more than an support request... sorry if this is the wrong place for it, but I didn't find a better one.
I find the "restore session" option extremely useful. However, the list of opened documents is apparently recorded only on exit. While this works well during "normal" operation, it makes the option useless in the event of a crash of the program or of the system. I think it would be very useful (and apparently easy to implement...) to have the list of opened documents updated as a new document gets loaded, so that the program will always reload the correct list of documents upon restart, no matter if it quit regularly or not the previous session. I can't imagine any downside of such a behavior as opposed to the current one, but I might be wrong.
Would it be possible to make such a modification in future releases?
Thanks
Giacomo

Re: Restore last session
Hello Giacomo,
And welcome to our forums. I totally agree with you that it does make sense to store the session at the time a new document is opened/closed and as such I made a ticket for the guys in our development team to consider:
#1077: Viewer FR: store session at different time.
Please note that if approved it will probably take some time for this to be implemented as they are really busy now with finalizing the initial build of ver3 of our Viewer.
You can find a brief outline of what is coming in version 3 here:

Best,
Stefan
