Backround grid on printed pages

Hello, first of all i want to say that i am very happy about this fast, free, easy alternative to the adobe pdf reader.

But i have got a problem with printing some pdf files. on each page i get a grid of tiny black spots (when printing in greyscale, otherwise colored spots) even if the file has a plain white backround on the screen.

I tried all possible combinations in the color-options menue and havent these problems with other pdf-programs (printing the same file).

any ideas?

no, it is the hole script/file which has the backroundgrid, and a lot of other files also.

Hi Freigeist,

thanks for the sample. There is a very subtle colour on the background of all pages in this document. I found the dots printer on my Canon laser printer using the native Canon driver. Printing to a PCL printer however prints correctly.

The issue is a known one and will be fixed in the new version of PDF-XChange (V3) when it is available. https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 521#p50521
