When the page layout is set as "Single Page", every time PDF XChange Viewer jumps to the next page, it flashes, unlike the smooth transition in Adobe Reader. Will this be fixed in the future?
And when are fullscreen transition effects (Fade, Split, Dissolve, ...) going to be supported?

Re: Page transitions
Hello netheril96,
And welcome to our forums.
Could you please check the build number of the Viewer you are currently using on your machine, as I could see no "flashing" at my end with build 2.5.197 (you can check that in Help -> About).
Also if possible please archive (.zip .rar or .7z) a sample file and attach it to this forum topic so that we can test with the same file as you do.
As for the page transitions in Full Screen mode - these would be implemented in the next major version of our Viewer:

Re: Page transitions
I'm using 2.5.197. See the sample file , single page layout and fit page. Every time it jumps to the next page, the current page blinks, unlike in Adobe Reader or Evince, where the next page simply replaces the current one without a perceptible transition phase.Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote:Hello netheril96,

Re: Page transitions
Hello netheril96,
Now I understand what you have in mind. Yes our Viewer's rendering method does briefly display a blank page before starting rendering the content on it. This is only visible when you initial scroll through the pages, and then on consecutive visits of cached pages you can not notice it.
The thing is that Adobe are using preemptive rendering - so they are rendering e.g. the next and previous pages while you are reading the current - that's why the transition there is much smoother.
As you are probably aware we are working on a new version of our Viewer - where we will be redesigning pretty much everything - and rendering will also be improved.
So please bear with us while we work on finalizing ver3 and we can always reopen this topic later this year when ver3 is live.
Best,
Stefan

Re: Page transitions
So when will ver3.0 be released? Is there a beta version to test?Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote:Hello netheril96,
