Taskbar highlighting prevent auto-hide of Windows taskbar

Hi,

There is a feature of PDF-xchange Viewer, or due to application’s default behavior in Windows 7 that occasionally becomes annoying.

I use a batch file to open over a dozen of PDF files with a single double-click. However, the PDF-Xchange Viewer icon on the Windows 7 taskbar gets highlighted for each of the document window and they prevent auto-hide of the taskbar, which I uses on my 12.1’’ tablet to maximize viewing area.

To get rid of this, I have to switch to each PDF window and give a click, so the taskbar icon highlighting could disappear. For over a dozen of documents, this frequently becomes a headache.

Is there a way to disable this behavior (taskbar icon highlighting & preventing auto-hide of taskbar) for PDF-Xchange Viewer?

Hello Bob,

I believe that this is a Windows Feature - as for me every time I try to launch any application (not only the Viewer) - and switch to another one while the first is loading - makes it flash in the toolbar - so even if there is a way to switch that off - it will be in some Windows Tweaks lists or forums.
