pdf steals keyboard focus in firefox

hi,

while viewing pdf in firefox, sometimes its impossible to type in the browser text fields. for example trying to paste into firefox search bar after clicking it - it will paste a text box on the pdf.

this problem exist for some time - right now i'm using firefox 5 and pdf-xchange 2.5.197.

Hello jorj,

It's normal for our Viewer control to take the focus when you have opened a PDF document inside your browser, but it should also return it back to the browser once you click outside of the PDF XChange area of the screen - so if you click in the FF toolbars, or in the FF Main menu - the focus should go back to the main window - and you can then paste in the FF Search field.

dear Stefan,

i understand that. from my simplistic point of view this functionality is trivial.
yet allot of the times it doesn't work that way - in different computers, different versions of firefox and different versions pdf-xchange viewer.
i click the search or url field, the keyboard cursor - is blinking over there, yet while i try to type anything the focus is on the viewer.
if i change to a regular tab everything function normally.
i use your wonderful software for at least a year, and this dysfunction was always there.

Hello Jorj,

I spoke with the guys in our dev team, and they told me that this focus is controlled by FireFox - and that you should probably take this bug to their support forums.
