How to change back from sub/superscript to normal font?

Post by bob_sun »

Hi,

In making comments or typewriter in PDF:

I know there is a key combination CTRL+”=” which could change font position from normal to subscript, and corresponding CTRL+SHIFT+”=” for superscript. But once any of them are used, how to change back to normal non-sub/super position? I tried various key combinations and found no effective one, and all subsequent typing are in the sub/superscript.

In MS Word, use the key combination again changes back to normal font, so basically it is treated as a toggling command. In PDF-Xchange viewer, is there a way to change back to normal font?

Hello Bob,

I have to admit that on my machine the "Ctrl + =" and "Ctrl + Shift + =" combinations are not working at all for super/sub scripting, so can I ask which is the OS you are using (XP, Vista, Win7) and whether it is a 32 of 64 bit one?

Best,
Stefan

Hi Bob_sun,

In the viewer "Ctrl + =" is zoom and "Ctrl + Shift + =" is unassigned. If you would like to modify this go to View->ToolBars->Customize Toolbars... Go to the Commands tab. You can then select a Category and a Command and hit the properties button. This will open the Command Properties window which will allow you to set a shortcut.

If you choose View from the Categories and scroll down to "Zoom in" you will see it's been assigned "Ctrl + =". Hope that helps!

The Shortcut for Subscript is Ctrl+Shift+"Num-"
The Shortcut for Superscript is Ctrl+Shift+"Num+"
