Select tool stopped working

The select tool only worked during the first time I ran PDF X-change viewer v 2.5 (197) after installation. Since then it, and all of the the other text tools with the exception of the snapshot tool don't work.

Any suggestions?

Hi Dave,

I would unistall and re-install the viewer. Try that out and let me know if it resolved your challenge.

I've done that. That's how I discovered the select tool only works immediately after installation.

Hi Dave,

Could it be this is an image based PDF (e.g. something scanned) ? IN which case even if there is text to view - it is actually an image and therefore there is no text on the page to select ?
