Hi,
I am using PdfXchange Viewer 2.5(Build 190.0)
On a particular pdf file, I used to be able to see the Bookmark window. It is
very useful as a dynamic table of contents. I'm not sure what I did but now,
when I use View/Bookmarks ( or Ctrl-B) , the Bookmark window no longer appears.
I checked that on a different machine, the same file will show the bookmark window
over there.
How can I view the Bookmark window again?
Thanks,
Bookmark window accidentally turned off

I don't see any way to disable the bookmarks pane completely. Ctrl B will always show it again if you do close it, or bring it to the front if its hidden behind the PDF-XChange Window, or enlarge it if its shrunk to as narrow as it will go.
Which version of the viewer are you using, on which OS? Help, Check for updates.

Hello ktan,
Have you used e.g. two monitors, or maybe moved the bookmark pane outside of the visible area on your current desktop?
In either case if Ctrl + B is not helping - please try the "Edit -> Export all Settings to Data file..." option (to create a back up) and then use the "Edit -> Reset all Settings to Default..." and check whether this will "fix" the bookmarks window.
Best,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for your reply. For some reason, I did not receive auto-notification, so it's a
month before I checked this again. Also strange that replies from you and Pesala are in
earlier years.
Yes, thanks for your workaround. I not only have more than 2 displays, I sometimes
use MaxiVista, a software that extends to 3-4 displays, when I need to. The upshot is
that the bookmark window got lost in one of the the virtual screens; and resetting
the display to only one monitor does not bring it back.
The workaround to reset the settings restored the bookmark window back to my display.
