Export feature in PDF Xchange viewer

Post by huntishi »

Hi,

In my current code design, to export any crystal report into adobe pdf format, I am using the below javascript code snippet.
<object id="Pdf1" classid="clsid:CA8A9780-280D-11CF-A24D-444553540000" align="baseline" border="0" width="0" height="0" VIEWASTEXT>

Is there any such capability of Xchange viewer to programatically export the files using javascript, as shown using above clsid of Adobe?

What is the clsid for xchange viewer for exporting?
It will be appriciated if I can get a sample code snippet as above?

Thanks in advance !!!

Rather than 'Export' I assume you mean 'Import' as PDF file ...

To be able to create PDF files from 3rd party format the primary means we offer to do this at this time is to 'Print to PDF' (unless the file concerned is a Raster/Vector image that we support in our Tools) or using our PDF-XChange Drivers APi and this requires that a suitable viewer for the 3rd party format exists on the users system and can be controlled by use of some suitable API etc - so in short the viewer cannot do this directly for you.
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
