Stamps not printing in 2.5.198

Good Morning,

I just updated PDF-Xchange Viewer (free user) to 2.5.198. I print using "document and stamps" but stamps are not printing out. I uninstalled this version and reinstalled version 2.5.197 and all stamps are printing out fine again. Bug?

I just ran a test and found that default stamps that come with the Viewer print OK but my custom Stamp does not. Can you tell me if this is also what you see? Is the issue specifically your stamps or both yours and those that ship with the Viewer?

I have passed this on to the development team to investigate and raised a Support Request Ticket to track it's progress. The ticket is "RT#1270: custom stamps not printing from Viewer"

We will post here what we find.

Can you send me the file with your custom stamps collection?
It is located into
c:\Users\<your account name>\AppData\Roaming\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange Viewer\2.0\Stamps

Unfortunately my original stamps file contains sensitive information, I cannot send it to you. If you are not able to reproduce using Paul's file or other method, please let me know and I'll create a file I can send you.

I expect there is a good reason Ivan is asking for the stamps. He's in Europe right now and it's late at night there. I've asked him if he can do the investigation using my stamps. We should hear something from him around this tomorrow.

I found that stamps imported from transparent PNG images did not print, while some imported from PDF have the wrong colours.

the cause of the stamps issue has been found and the fix will be available in build 199. We hope to have that available in the next couple of days.

This fix is not listed in the history for build 199, but it does seem to be fixed.

It's missing in the version history, but it is in fact resolved.
