What is the best tool (preferably free) that can be used to build pdf forms for end users to fill out that are compatible with PDF-XChange viewer.
Thanks,
Ashley

Re: PDF Forms Tool
Hi Ashley,
I am not aware of any such free tools, but if the one you find is capable of creating acro-forms - the files created/modified this way should also work in our Viewer.
We are working on our own Forms Designer, but it will not be free, and will be released for ver3 of our Viewer.
Best,
Stefan

Re: PDF Forms Tool
My name is Chad.
I have PDF xchange Pro 2012.
Am I able to take a PDF form, and make it fillable and then email that PDF form so the person I send it to can fill out the PDF?

Re: PDF Forms Tool
Hi Chad,
Thanks for the post - I'm afraid that we don't have any End User products that are capable of creating fillable forms, as yet. As Stefan stated, we will be working on some kind of form designer, likely as a plugin for the Editor.
For now, I'm afraid that I don't have any information as to when this will be available.
Hope that helps!

Re: PDF Forms Tool
Is their any time frame or progress on PDF-XChange Pro creating editable forms?
I am running version 5.5 Build 312.1 and I can not figure out how to create a form. I would be nice if I could just create a Text Box and change the properties to say that it is a fill-able field.
Thank you.

Hi wolcott, wood and taylor, inc.,
The forms creator is still a ways off. It seems to be quite a big project for the development team.
Thanks for your patience!
