Hi Guys,
We have an issue where the control fails the first time any method call is made. The user originally installed on a win7 box with UAC turned on, then realized they needed to turn UAC off for proper install. They turned off UAC, uninstalled and reinstalled but still had the problem. We have since uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times and still can't make method calls to the control. We have tried manually registering the control with elevated privileges and the control registered sucessfully but still no method calls work. What should we do to fix the control?

Could you please let us know the error code you have on the methods calls?
Also, please check if the samples from the viewer's SDK work properly or not.

It took us a while to get our client to provide us with an environment to run some tests. This is the error we get when running the attached very simple project. The control appears on the form without error but as soon as we make any method call, we get the error.
Error is:
Run-time error '-2147418113'
Automation Error
Catastrophic Failure
Win7 64-bit system - Simple project attached - uninstall and re-install does not fix the problem at the client site.

Hi docu-track99,
Ivan is saying he can't tell much more without looking on your system. Would you be prepared to do a TeamViewer session with him? If so you'd need to install the free TeamViewer client and get back to us with your ID and password (not on the forum obviously) and we can make arrangements for Ivan to connect.

Yes, we would like to arrange a teamviewer session with Ivan on one of the affected machines. Should we email you at support@pdf-xchange.com in order to co-ordinate this. I will be passing this on to our support department as they will have to co-ordinate this with our client as well and arrange a time when this can take place.
