I have a searchable PDF and I want to be able to view all the text of the PDF as a text file (not as the image). I thought at one time I was able to click on something in a toolbar/menu to view the text data in a separate tab or window, but I can't seem to find how to do that now. Not sure if that was with PDF-XChange Viewer or another product like the FoxIt Free PDF Viewer. Anyhow, is this possible?
Thank you,
Nelson

Re: View PDF Text
Hello Nelson,
There is a "Convert PDF to .RTF/.DOC/.TXT" option in oir PDF Tools.
So you will need to create a separate file with the text content of your PDF - but it is possible with our PDF Tools to have only the text extracted.
Best,
Stefan

Re: View PDF Text
Thank you Stefan. I was asked by one of my clients (who I got using the free version of PDF-XChange Viewer) how he could copy the text from a PDF without actually using the PDF image itself. So, I really needed/wanted to be able to do this from within PDF-XChange Viewer and not PDF Tools (or the SDK on this one). I guess this is not possible within the viewer, correct? In the viewer I only see Export to "Image". Would be great if it has the ability to export or view the text. Perhaps it could be added in the next version?
Best Regards,
Nelson
