In a case where my client scans a bunch of pages when standing at a scanner into one file - for convenience, the single file contains several "jobs".
Next, when they get back to the PC, they need to take three pages and extract that into file A, then subsequent 4 pages and extract that into file B etc....
This is where one cumbersomeness comes in.
1. Select the relevant page thumbnails.
2. Right click > Extract Pages
3. Choose Selected Pages, tick Save Extracted to New File
4. The Save Dialog appears in Windows 7
However, that Save Dialog is a folder dialog, not a combined Folder + File Dialog and I can't get to Favourites where there could be multiple prefererred folder locations.
Worthwhile thinking about?
Ananda

Re: Product suggestion
Hello Ananda,
And thank you for the suggestion.
I believe I've discussed this quite some time ago with one of the guys in the dev team, and the answer was that this is the most universal File/folder window we can use - and that at the time the current viewer was designed this was more or less the norm. We are working on ver3 of the Viewer (as you are probably aware):

And lots of things will be redesigned for it - and I suspect that the Save dialogue will also be improved.
Best,
Stefan
