The hierarchical grouping of layers is not currently being displayed correctly in PDF-XChange Viewer (v 2.5 build 200.0) layers panel. I have produced maps using GIS software with the layers being individual data layers displayed on the map. The layer grouping should reflect the grouping that was used when the map was produced. Adobe reader displays this grouping correctly but PDF-XChange Viewer does not. It lumps all the layer into one single hierarchical group, meaning if I turn the top one off, all those below it also turn off. That does not reflect the correct grouping.
I can send a sample if desired. Comparing the layers display in Reader versus PDF-XChange Viewer will show the difference.
I'm using Windows XP SP3.
Thank you.
Dave

Re: Layer Grouping incorrect
John,
Actually my description was not quite correct. The layers turn on and off fine. It's just the graphic display of the layers in the layers panel that is not quite right. This is a much smaller issue, but the display of the layer hierarchy does not reflect that actual hierarchy. View it in Reader to see the correct hierarchy.
