Using search results
I'm using the free version, and find the search function really useful. Does the pro version extend this ( or am I just missing this in the free ver.?) usefulness by allowing searches to be saved, exported, printed, etc.?

Re: Using search results
Hello 2rex,
And welcome to our forums.
No - the search does not differ between the free and licensed versions of the Viewer, and for now you can't save those searches - but we are considering this as an option to be added in a future build (after the initial release of ver3 of our Viewer).
Best,
Stefan

Re: Using search results
Thanks, Stefan. Any idea when the new release might be out? Will sorting of search results also be considered?
Is there any way to disable the backward page navigation of the backspace key on the forum? My fingers go for backspace on autopilot when I make a typo. Took 4 or 5 tries to type this . . .

Hi 2rex,
the backspace in my Opera browser works just as intended - deleting the text I just typed - so maybe there are some preferences in your browser that cause this?
As for the release dates - you can find more info here.
Best,
Stefan

Re: Using search results
Adding the ability to save searches is why I logged into the forum, i'm so glad I found this post.
Please I BEG you; ADD save search results function PLEEEZZZZZ I have over 35,000 pdf's in my library and to search keywords takes a lonnng time. It would be a life saver to be able to save search results and pull them up at later date without having to do another kw search that takes over an hour.
THANK YOU

Re: Using search results
Hello szore,
I understand your need of such a feature - but for now we are not adding any new functionality until the release of ver3 of our Viewer later in Q2 this year. And as I have stated before in this topic - we are considering this feature and if approved - it will find it's place in our new Viewer.
Best,
Stefan
