Objects on PDF are blacked out unless zoomed in very close
When viewing some PDF's some of the objects on the page show up as a solid black. If you zoom in about 3X they start to show up with a gray background, at 5X or better they show correctly. This does not happen when viewing the same file with acrobat.

Hi Frank,
thanks for the posat. Can you tell me if you are running the latest build (201)
http://www.docu-track.com/knowledgebase ... nt-version
If so and you still see this please supply a sample file where we can see this issue replicated. You can attach it to this post or use Help --> Report a Problem from the Viewer.

Hello Frank,
Please make sure that your files are either pdfs or inside an archive - or the forums will just strip them out.
Also the maximum allowed size is 5MB - so if your sample is bigger - uploading it elsewhere and sharing the link will be the better option.
Best,
Stefan

Stefan
I had it posted but deleted it because it had our customers name on it. I am trying to figure out a way of removing the name before posting, this issue seems to be with older PDF files.
Will try to have something uploaded soon,
Frank

Re: Objects on PDF are blacked out unless zoomed in very clo
The content that looks black is composed by drawing black rectangle and then white image over this rectangle. PDF-XChange viewer adjusts position and size of images to pixel boundaries, but it doesn't adjust positions and size of the rectangle. We are working on this issue.

Will this be fixed soon (days or weeks) or is it a longer term fix?

Hi Frank,
the issue with this is something called 'Stroke Adjust' and the fix for this has been implemented for V3 of the Viewer due for release at the end of May. I'm afraid there will not be a fix in a build prior to that.
