Sort Comments by place

Hello!

Brief memo: I recently found this really excellent software manipulating pdf files! Even so the free version! I looked for something simpler, because making a pdf file 'reader extended' (e.g. allowing almost all advanced features for commenting ) not so very easy even using Acrobat X. Furthermore, I put some feature requests to the Adobe X forum - which I surprisingly found already built in your software. I was so glad, really (Comment sorting features so great, as the movable-dockable comment/bookmark panes, the customizable UI, the tabbed viewing, and very exactly the freely allowed advanced commenting on a non secured pdf without so many circumstances

Only remark: I should be glad if the comments may be sorted by their placed order by default or chosen.
(I found somehow their default ordering may be by their creation Date. I should like to see the comments order sequentially placed too.)
I found a post on this forum regarding somehow similarly to this.

But, that's not exactly the same I should like to ask as a feature request here, even if that's I should like to be use too.
This is why I made a completely new post, and not mentioning that there. Even if I could see you were open a ticket for resolving that too.

And thank you for your feature request. I am sure that when the ticket in that other topic is resolved and the "sorting by position on the page" is implemented - it will be available both for summarizing as well as sorting comments.

I have included a link to this topic in ticket 1400 so that it's investigated and worked on together with the summarize feature.

Thank you for your promising response. (Yes, that's more exact, I thought too - Sorting the comments by their position

Only question: Although, I read from the mentioned similar post there is something similar planned for the coming v3. And I also read more for the coming v3 features (e.g. I downloaded somewhere from the PDF-X Viewer 2011.zip ppt) however, that is not quite clear for me when will the v3 be actually available?

Is it possible whether this tiny feature(s) can come somehow earlier as a patch or anything similar?

Hello iplnts,

Ver3 is announced to be released on 31 May this year, and it is unlikely that any new features will be added in ver 2.5 as pretty much all of our development resources are now focused on finalizing ver3 and there would be mostly bug-fixing builds for the current version from now on.
