How to find used font occurencies and replace fonts?
If I look into the Document properties->Fonts section of a pdf doc I find a couple of
different fonts which are officially embedded somewhere in the doc.
Can I tell XChange Viewer to show (=highlight or jump to) the places where the currently marked font is used?
Can I tell XChange Viewer to replace a certain font with another font (possible with a new font loaded
from external *.ttf file)? Additional properties like font size, bold/italic should be kept.
Matt

Hi Matt,
neither of the required items are available at this time - I think your needs are a little sophisticated for a general purpose PDF Viewer - which is what the product is designed to be at this time.
Version 3 in development now will allow you to modify text/fonts etc and possibly in time might allow the 'global' replacement of all specific fonts where ever they occur for another - but its not a simple task and I doubt will be in the intial V3 release.
Sorry not to be the bearer of better news.

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Can I add my voice to this request? I've taken over responsibility for producing a quarterly looseleaf, and it would be really helpful to be able to find where the previous typesetter used a particular font.

Hi John,
you certainly can add your voice and it has been heard. Perhaps when the voices become a chorus this may change. I have added this to the long term 'wish list' however that is not a promise to deliver said feature.
