I'm trying to make this app take as little vertical space as I can on a widescreen monitor, without actually hiding everything.
I've disabled lots of toolbars so everything I need can be fit onto just one horizontal line. However, the Navigation toolbar doesn't seem to be compatible, and insists on being on its own.
Is it possible to put the Navigation toolbar on the same line as everything else?

Hi ajp_anton,
The Navigation toolbar, from the bottom of the document window, does not have the same attributes as the rest of the toolbars, and though it can be moved above the document, it cannot be hidden or moved into the regular toolbar workspace.
Best regards,
Chris Attrell

Re: Minimalistic
So the question is then
a) Why? What's the reason for this? What makes it so different that it can't share the same space as the others?
b) Can this be changed in a future version?
With computer screens converging towards the 16:9 format, vertical space is more precious than ever. Especially in laptops where the lack of pixels is just horrifying. I'd really like to be able to squeeze as much as possible out of that tiny space.

Re: Minimalistic
I put the navigation control (and the menus) on my customised toolbar. The launch toolbar is another "special" toolbar — I just left that floating in the corner. I am using 1280x1024 on a 17" desktop LCD monitor.

Re: Minimalistic
Hi, Anton.
You are right - in the current version you cannot move the 'page-navigation' toolbar from local document's workspace into an global mainframe's workspace. You will be able to do it in the new version 3 later this Spring.
But in current version there is another way to achieve the same result.
1. hide all document's local toolbars by [Menu/View/Toolbars]
2. using the "Customize..." feature: hide unnecessary global toolbars, create custom global toolbars and fill them.
For example - see my screenshot in the attachment.
Best
Regards.
