links in pdf files

Post by xchguser »

Hi,
When I open some pdf files in xchange-viewer, links are shown with red rectangles around it, which very annoying especially on table of contents page. I couldn't find an option to change this behavior, ie underline change color of links. I check other pdf viewer they show documents correctly without red rectangles around all links.
I will be happy if one post a solution for this.
thanks

Hello xchguser,

Please check that you are using the latest build of our Viewer (go to Help -> About inside it), and if you are not using build 2.5.201 - then please download and install it from here:
www.tracker-software.com/PDFXVwer.zip

As what you are experiencing might have been an old problem that is already resolved.

If you do have the latest build - then please do send us a copy of this file - so that we can investigate it further.

Best,
Stefan

Hello xchguser,

We will need an actual sample file for testing, but it could be that those links are "meant" to look like this - e.g. the tool that created them added the border, and this border is then visible in all PDF Viewing applications - including our Viewer.

We will know more once we see a sample file.

Best,
Stefan
