Hi,
I have a PDF with a mix of English and Tamil (an Indian script) in which I notice that there is a problem in rendering the Tamil portions with PDF-Xchange Viewer. The same file renders correctly in Adobe Acrobat Reader X, Google Chrome PDF Viewer and Sumatra PDF Viewer.
I am using version 2.5 (build 201.0) of PDF Xchange Viewer on Windows XP, SP 3. I have the option "Install files for complex script ..." enabled in Regional and Language Options of Control Panel.
I notice that the embedded font for Tamil is TrueType in the document and certain characters are not rendered properly (those with a dot on top of them). I do not have the source ttf file of the embedded font.
I cannot share the entire content of the PDF in the forum as it contains personal information, but can share with developers if required. Please let me know of the e-address to where I can share the source PDF.
I am enclosing the snapshots of a portion of the PDF doc as rendered in different viewers.
Regards,
srn

Hello RamNarayan S,
Just a quick update on this issue. We are aware of it and work has started on resolving such problems with embedded TT Fonts. We expect to have this fixed in V3 of the Viewer due for release on 31 May 2012.
Best,
Stefan

Thanks for the kind words RamNarayan S,
And I just got an update on the situation -
We are already aware of this problem and do have a ticket on it:
#286: Rendering problem with PDf file.
which is scheduled for fixing in v3 of the Viewer at the end of May.
Best,
Stefan
