Export to Image Issue

I have a 23 page document that I am trying to export into a gif as a single multi-page image file. I go through all the options and set the path and what to name the document and it looks like everything went well. When I go back to the folder where I had the image saved to and try to open it with Window Picture and Fax Viewer it tells me that the drawing failed. When I try to open it with paint it opens, but only the last image opens, like it is a single page image. I have tried exporting a single page PDF as an image and it will open and I have tried exporting only 5 pages of the full 23 and got the same thing error as trying to export the full 23 pages. I also tried exporting just one page of the full 23 and the single page will open. I also updated to the newest version today thinking that would help but I keep getting the same issue.

Multi page gif images could be a bit tricky to "view" page by page.
Please try the "TIFF" option - Tiff files can be multi page as well - and most applications will recognize and allow you to browse through the pages in such a file.
