Preferences/G /Documents layout blocked to "Single Document"

I wish working in Multiple documents mode, but Preferences/General/Documents layout is set to Single Document and grey colored.
What to do?

Hi Claude,

Are you saying that you cannot click the multiple documents option at all and it is greyed out?

Can you goto Help->About PDF-XChange Viewer and let us know the version build number you are using.
