Hi, I would be very grateful if you can help with a problem I am having with PDF XChange Viewer. I am sure I am just overlooking something - but I can't find the solution.
I have built a PDF collection for a customer of mine - a company that uses PDF XChange as its corporate PDF product. I created the collection in Adobe Acrobat and, when I view the results in Acrobat, everything is fine, but the features I have added to the file are not accessible in PDF XChange Viewer.
The collection is designed to be viewed in a web browser using a PDF Viewer plugin. A sample file is located here:
http://www.imprimatur.co.uk/TRM_Test/NK1D1G1010880.pdf
The functionality that you should see is:
* Hovering over an object in the wiring diagram generates a "tooltip" popup identifying the component under the cursor.
* Clicking on an item number in the table below the diagram switches on a red highlight box identifying the component in the wiring diagram. Clicking the number again turns the box highlight off.
I have tried viewing this file both natively in PDF XChange and also in Internet Explorer with PDF XChange plugin; the features listed above do not work in either environment.
I imagine it is some simple security setting that I have overlooked?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Philip

Re: Problem with button function in PDF XChange
Hi Philip,
Thanks for the sample file. I can observe the same behaviour in our Viewer, so we will discuss it here and run some tests, and will post back soon.
Best,
Stefan

Thank you for the information - and, of course, for looking at the problem and fixing it. May I indicate to my customer a rough time-frame for the next version? It would be very helpful to them.
Thank you
Philip

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
