Show Cover Page in Facing Mode

Can I save the option "Show Cover Page in Facing Mode" so it is the default for all documents?

the Viewer will remember that you selected this on a document if "Restore the last used Layout and Zoom settings..." is selected :
Edit --> Preferences --> Page Display --> Initial Display

This does not however apply to document that you have not opened before. This cannot be set as default in the Viewer in the current version. After discussing this with the development team we have agreed that is may be practical to add this as a feature. I have raised a formal feature request around this RT#1518: Feature Request: Show Cover Page in Facing Mode

This is not a promise to deliver said feature but is is a commitment to seriously looking into it.

I think this is a brilliant feature to add. Many of your users would expect good applications like PDF-XChange Viewer to remember their preferences and not force them to reset it every time they open a new document. Thanks for considering it.

Not withstanding this little issue, PDF-XChange Viewer is fabulous software.

Most settings are remembered from the last session and on a per document basis 'Show Cover Page in Facing Mode' can be also. The Feature request is to add a setting to override the per document settings and force the default on all documents.
