printing ONLY selected pages from a pdf

how do I print only selected pages from a pdf document?,I'm trying to print,say,only the 3rd race from the daily racing form using the thumbnail view,in the adobe reader,you would simply stretch a blue rectangular box over the pages you wanted to print in the thumbnail view,and then simply hit print,I can't do that in this one,how do I do it?,thank you

in the Print dialogue you can select specific pages with the standard notation of commas and dashes like this:



if you click the boxes under the preview it will show you exactly what page is there. 4 is actually page 89 as per the items in the "Pages" box on the left.

It's quite powerful.

Print specific pages option are :

Numerically select pages in the Print dialogue - e.g. specifiy pages (1,5,9 etc) by range (1-5), odd or even pages, or all

Or - and probably best for you - select the pages in the thumbnail view by holding the CTRL key down as you select with your mouse - open the print dialogue and choose the option 'Selected pages' and then print

or as Paul says above.
