How can I copy an image without using the snapshot tool?

Post by haohmarudiablo »

I have been using the PDF-XChange Viewer for a long time. I like it very much. But these days I have found a problem that how can I copy an image without using the snapshot tool? I found that I can only select text by using the select tool but can not select any image. Beacuse in Adobe Reader, I can select or copy any image by using the select tool directly without using the snapshot tool. I think it can improve our efficiency. Also the image which is selected by the select tool is clearer than the snapshot tool.

Hi haohmarudiablo,

Thank you for your feedback, we will take this in account for new versions.
The snapshot tool is designed to copy an image from a pdf file.
The current functionality also allows you to paste an image from the Windows clipboard to a pdf document but the image must be copied into the clipboard as an image by using some image editing software such as Paint. For further information, refer to the following knowledge base article:

Please refer to this knowledge base article regarding to the image brightness:

Thanks.

Sincerely,
