Better Form function

Post by Boxer »

Hello dear developers,

I would like to see in the v3 a better handling in forms like Adobe Reader do it.

Example:

As you can see the vertical spacing isn't as good as in Adobe Reader if you gonna fill the fields.

With Adobe Reader you have also the opportunity to mark the lines, where you only can write something in, with an color.

Example:

Look at the purple note which appers. I guess the function in Adobe Reader calls "Mark existing fields".

Do it baby for the next major version, because your reader is the best and best software needs best functions :)

Hi, could you please offer a sample PDF to look at so we can comment.

Also most form fields have prescribed values set by the author that cannot be changed by a standard reader (e.g. font size, colour etc) - using full Acrobat which has forms modification you can make such changes (assuming the author alows such changes in the security property settings for the form) - so are you modifying using Adobe Reader or the full product ?

Version 3 of our licensed product will allow form field editing ...
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Best regards

Hi Boxer,

Thanks for that. I can easily see the difference on the form.

One of our Engineers will be looking at this tomorrow. We'll update here with what we find.
