Hi,
je souhaite acheter une tablette, mais je veux pouvoir utiliser votre logiciel PDF X-Change Viewer pour des annotations.
Avant de faire mon achat, je voudrais connaître les types de tablettes sur lesquels votre logiciel fonctionne.
Pouvez-vous lister les systèmes et les versions sur lesquels le logiciel est compatible? Je n'ai pas trouvé cette info, et elle servira sûrement à d'autres utilisateurs du forum.

I want to buy a tablet, but I want to use your software PDF X-Change Viewer.
Before buying it, I want to know the different tablets I can use in compatibility with your software.
Could you list system tablets and versions where the software PDF X-Cnage Viewer run?

Hi Matt,

And welcome to our forums.
I am afraid that our products are currently only available for the standard Windows operating systems from XP and up, so if your tablet is going to be windows based and utilising an Intel Atom or i3, i5, i7 processor - then it will have a standard windows version and you will be able to install our products on such a device as well. If it's however using an ARM processor (Windows 8 RT), or is an Android or iOS tablet then we do not have a version for those devices yet

I can tell you I've been running it on Windows 8 on a Samsung ATIV smart PC Model 500T1C-A04 with Windows 8 (full not the RT version) and it's not too bad. Windows 8 is nicer for browsing the internet, Facebook, and such on the tablet but the vast majority of the programs like the PDF-XChange Viewer run in the desktop mode so essentially the same as Windows 7 then.

I would also recommend getting a tablet with a pen input. While most standard Windows programs are functional on the tablet the standard menus and icons are hard for my big fingers to always get the right one. The S-Pen on Samsung works much better when trying to markup a PDF file.

Also forgot to mention on a tablet you are going to drive yourself nuts trying to figure out how to cancel out of the cloud command and other things because it does not recognize holding your finger down for a right click. It instead thinks you want to add another point.

So at least for the cloud and the polygon tools double click fast for your last point ends it. For all other right-clicks though in the document window you are out of luck on a tablet from what I can find.
