I am running the free version of the reader, 2.5.207. According to the manual, I should be able to export settings from the Edit menu, although sometimes this option is greyed out. It was my initial understanding that the exported settings were for PDF-XChange Viewer; that is, all the settings under Edit --> Preferences could be backed up to a file. Is that the case? Can I import these settings to another computer and PDF-Xchange Viewer will have the same look-and-feel?
Thanks for any clarification.

Re: Export-Import Settings confusion
Hi Econdoc
you have the right idea. It should export your settings to file, including anything you set under Edit --> Preferences as well as customized Toolbars etc. Yes the idea is that this can be used on another instance. It is often used to push a consistent set up across multiple machines.

I'm not sure about this. Under what conditions do you see it greyed out?although sometimes this option is greyed out.
