How to select multiple objects

Post by gdittrich »

Hello,
In normal Windows applications it is possible to select multiple objects by pressing the Ctrl-Button. This seems to be not possible with the XChange Viewer.
Is there another way so make multiple selections or do I need a non-free Version?
Thank's for reply.

This is not possible in the current release - but is possible in the next V3 release due in March and now in early Beta - see here for more info;

I have the Beta version but I cannot work out how to select multiple objects.

Am I missing something simple, or has this not yet been implemented in the Beta version?

Hello John,

Just select the proper tool - and then drag with the mouse to select the desired objects.
Please check the attached images.
If you want to select just a few objects, and exclude some that will fall within the drag area - you can also select by clicking each object individually with the mouse while holding down the Ctrl key.

Best,
Stefan
