pdf viewer "dong" sound?

when I use mouse move the pdf,and release the mouse, it issues "dong" sound.
How to close it?

Welcome to our forums. That's quite unusual, and would normally indicate that there was something wrong with the last operation you wanted to perform. Besides this sound does it actually work as expected or not?

and does this happen under any situation? have you closed and restarted the Viewer? Have you restarted the PC? I would ask that you do both those and get back to us.

Yes , I do.
It also issues "dong" sound.

windows 7 and xp don't have.
windows 8 pro has.

Yes.
You can test it.
First setup windows 8 pro.Second setup pdf viewer.Then open a pdf file,use mouse to drag the pdf.When the mouse release ,it issuses "dong"!

I use Win 8 Pro all the time with the Viewer and I've also done extensive testing of the Viewer under Win 8 and I have never experienced this. That is why we are asking you these questions, the truth is that this is not normal behaviour and it's not simple to reproduce...

use mouse to drag the pdf.

Can you clarify what you mean by this? For example do you have the Hand Tool selected? Are you dragging the PDF around within the Viewer window, dragging to scroll left and right? What Zoom level are you at? Perhaps you mean something else when you "drag the pdf"? Are you dragging from outside thew Viewer from Windows Explorer to drop a PDF onto the Viewer Window?

We need a clearer description of how to reproduce this if we are to help.

Hi,

the most likely cause of this is going to be some personal preferences in your mouse driver settings we believe - can you please advise what mouse you are using and if you are using the standard settings or some custom settings and what driver is being used?

Also can you please go to the PDF-XChange Viewer and select the Help menu - Report a Problem option and send us the info this generates with a link back to this forum post for reference and we will investigate further.

Just for your info - you are the only user out of many millions reporting this so it has to be something specific on your system which is generating this output ...

If you have access to another PC with Win 8 it would also be interesting to know if you can replicate the issue there - because we cannot in any system here.

we cannot send you a copy of Windows 8 Pro - that would contravene the Microsoft Licensing. You have indicated that you are already using Win 8 Pro - if you have the installation disks from that you can use it to create a temporary Virtual machine or other mechanism. I believe that if this is for testing purposes that it is legitimate, especially if you delete it after the testing. Better would be a second already licensed Win 8 Pro machine. I'm sorry that we cannot provide you with such.

I found the "Adobe Acrobat XI Pro" affect the system.
(The winrar worked wrong,then I asked the winrar supporter.He told me that the "Adobe Acrobat XI Pro" affect the system.
So I reinstall the windows 8 pro,and setup viewer.It works right! )
But I don't know why the "Adobe Acrobat XI Pro" affects the system.

Now all normal!
