As a construction contractor, it would be very helpful to have some sort of measuring "wheel" tool. Something where you could set the scale, and then measure multiple lines on a drawing while keeping a running total. The tool would need to work much like the current measuring tools, but maybe have a resettable total box of some sort.
Also along the same line, it would helpful to have a counting tool. In other words, maybe a stamp or something with a resettable counter. Use it to count and check off items on a plan.

Re: Feature Request - Cumulative measuring
Hello,
I am an estimator for multi family buildings and I have a work around that may help. When I have a count like units or cabinets I create 3-4 stamps and when I count something I place the corresponding stamp on it. In the end I can zoom out and do a count of the stamps or check and make sure I counted everything. I hope this helps.

Re: Feature Request - Cumulative measuring
Hello,
Instead of creating a new topic I decided to give this one new life.
Your measuring tools are something I use extensively every day. But I too would like a way to measure for instance 60 beams of different lenth and know what the total length is of those 60 beams comes to.
Your comments list is ideal for this as it has the possibility to sort per color, one little addition which could revolutionize my way of measuring would be to have a summary per color of some sorts. As attachment I add a modified screenshot to illustratie what I mean.
Greetings,
Jesse

Hi Jesse,
Thanks for your FR and suggestion. It's not something that we will add in the current Viewer, but as this has been requested before - we will consider it as a possible feature for our PDF-X Editor (the successor of the current Viewer):

Best,
