Hello bolbo,
Welcome to our forums. Which build of our Viewer are you using? If it's not the latest (2.5.209) - then please make sure to download and install that one:
www.tracker-software.com/PDFXVwer.zip
And then if you are still having problems - please zip/rar a sample and attach it to this forum topic.
Best,
Stefan

Re: attachments don't open
I've just updated to the newest version and the problem remains the same.
This is the pdf sample containing an attachment which should be opened with smath studio.

Hi Bolbo,
I had no issues extracting the attachment from your file.
Please check the image below which shows the file open in our Viewer, and the attachment visible in the attachments pane.
I've clicked the "Save..." button in the attachments pane, and saved the .sm file successfully on my desktop.
So please make sure you are extracting to a correct/existing folder and you have the right permissions and all should be well.
Best,
Stefan

Re: attachments don't open
I meant that was the error reported by the program when trying to open the file. I would like the file to open from pdf-xchange but there is some problem with file associations. The file opens with its associated application from desktop, however the pdf viewer can't find this association. Is there something I can try to have pdf-xchange detect the associated application and open the attachment with double click ?
Thanks for the assistance ^^

Hi bolbo,
This should normally work, but I can't say why it doesn't for your particular file type.
Attached is your sample with a test word document also attached - and it opens with a double click on my machine.
In any case - I would recommend you to extract to a folder first, as you can't (for now) save the changes to a file opened directly from inside the Viewer's attachment pane.
Best,
Stefan
