How can I set text typed with the Typewriter tool to wrap rather than go off the right side of the page?

And welcome to our forums. I am afraid that the typewriter tool just as a manual typerwriter needs to be explicitly told to go to a new line

You can try the text area tool instead - this will provide the text wrapping you are looking for.

Maybe you could add a "bell" feature to make it even more like a typewriter?
