I have installed https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product ... nge-viewer and I want to use it instead of adobe reader when I open pdfs inside my browsers, is that possible because now it still opens with the adobe reader.
The browser is Chrome and I am using Windows 7

Welcome to our forums. Yes it's possible. Please open our stand alone Viewer and go to Edit -> Preferences -> File associations, and activate the "Display PDF in browser" checkbox.

Thanks, that worked . I should have checked the options before asking, I was looking at the Chrome options and they don't have something to change the program that opens pdfs.

Regarding Chrome browser - type about:plugins into the address bar and you can change the PDF viewer. Disable the Chrome and Adobe veiwers and enable PDFXchange viewer
