Multiple Windows
In pdfXchange, is it possible to move a document, that is currently one of many tabs, to a new window so I can see 2 pdf's at once?

Re: Multiple Windows
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the post - if you go to Edit --> Preferences --> General and deselect the tabbed documents option, it should then open the current tabs in a window style format. You can than set the size of that window so that you are able to View two documents side-by-side.
Alternately, you could keep the tabbed documents on and simply select the option to allow multiple instances, then have two instances of the Viewer side-by-side.
Hope that helps!

Re: Multiple Windows
Thanks. Best I can tell, this combination of options doesn't allow me to have multiple instances and multiple, tabbed documents at the same time. I was hoping for functionality like Firefox's browser tabs/windows. (Right click on a tab and choose to move it to a new instance.)
Let me know if there is a way to do this.

Re: Multiple Windows
Hi Paul,
Sorry that I didn't quite catch that before! You're right, this isn't something that can be done in Version 2.5. Version 3 (also called PDFX-Editor), however will be able to do exactly this, and will be available as a full release between the 22nd and the 25th ofthis month (provided, of course, that there are no major, necessary delays).
Hope that's what you need!

Hi Paul,
Yes if you have valid maintenance on the date the Editor is officially released - you will get that upgrade for free.
Best,
Stefan
