Hello.
We have implemented your product in our company. But during the operation we had a number of problems:
1) If a searchable PDF is created in OCR Abbyy FineReader and is printed from PDF-XChange Viewer using PostScript driver, then the printed sheet of paper is completely black with light letters. Kyocera FS-1035MFP and HP LaserJet P3015 printers were used for testing.
2) When copying the live text from searchable PDF and pasting it onto the word processor (Word, NotePad), the hieroglyphic symbols are displayed (Chinese characters from Unicode type).
We are ready to provide you with all the necessary information as well as to carry out tests recommended by you to define the problem.
Best regards, Mihail.

Re: 2 problems with searchable PDFs
Hello Mihail,
And welcome to our forums. Thanks for reporting these problems.
You can solve the first one by selecting "Print as images" in our Viewer's print dialogue. This workaround should only be needed for a fer more days as we are going to release a new major version of the Viewer that will handle printing properly.
As for the second problem - I can confirm it in the current Viewer 2.5.210 - but can also confirm that this is also resolved in the upcoming V3. You can find a beta version of this new Viewer/Editor here:

Re: 2 problems with searchable PDFs
We have tried V3. There is no active print dialog at all in opened document. I see only inactive (grey) Print. Print Screen in attachment file.

Hi molonov,
Yes the current beta has the printing deactivated. A new version should be available very soon (just a few working days) with the printing activated and working.
Best,
Stefan

Re: 2 problems with searchable PDFs
Hello molonov,
Apologies - earlier today I though I had copied the text correctly, but maybe I had in the clipboard the text as it was selected in Adobe's reader (as this is what I tested with first).
However - please check the attached copy of your file that's been processed through our own OCR engine. I believe the result is at least as good if not better - and the text is selectable in all my test applications.
Best,
Stefan
