Sorry that I ask this, but I do not immediatly find it clearly stated:
Will PDF-XChange Viewer continue it's life besides PDF-XChange Editor, like Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat (Writer) are doing, or will the Viewer finally be 'replaced' with the Editor ?

Re: PDF-XChange Viewer versus PDF-XChange Editor
Hi Willy,
Thanks for the post - we're planning to keep the Viewer available for users with existing licenses, and for companies who want a Viewer without inline editing capabilities. It will be a Free download and no longer for sale.
Hope that helps!

Could you clarify it please.
What exactly does it mean - Viewer. Will it 2 or 3 version. In other words what version of the Viewer are you going to provide?

Re: PDF-XChange Viewer versus PDF-XChange Editor
Hi,
we will continue to offer the Viewer V2.5 as a free product only - and the PDF-XChange editor (V3) will also be offfered in a free format where around 85% of the features will be available for free use as in the existing Viewer - and in a licensed version to unlock the other 15% of reserved features.
One note though - once the Editor becomes the default product for purchasing although the Viewer will be offered for download still - we will cease to extend its feature set - or correct bugs etc, only the Editor will continue to be updated and extended by our development team.
Hope that helps.

Re: PDF-XChange Viewer versus PDF-XChange Editor
Good morning,
today I have rcognized that there is a changing in the structure of available products.
As far as I have understood and in a short: the viewer will be 'out of date' and is replaced by the new editor.
I do have a two year licence (Viewer) expiring in December 2013.
Will there be a way to transferr / upgrade to the editor?

Hello Horst,
Everyone with a valid Viewer license and maintenance will be able to upgrade their license for free, and if your maintenance has expired - we would be offering some heavy discounts if you still want to upgrade.
Best,
Stefan
