Thanks a lot for your great PDF-XChange Viewer!
I used Adobe Acrobat for many years and was always very dissatisfied because they:
- usually only fix bugs
- and sell them as new releases
- don't add new useful features
And their Software uses very too much ressources.
By "accident" I found PDF-XChange Viewer, tested it and it's really great Software.
If you are open for new & simple feature requests:
a) It would be nice to have the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Q mapped to "Close Application" (as in Acrobat)
b) It would be great if the "Comment Styles Palette" remembers its last settings (size, position AND it's splitter position).
The "Comment Styles Palette" has very expressive icons, therefore I don't need the describing texts and therefore I move splitter to the left so that I just see the Icons:
see the screenshot in "Comment Styles Palette Settings.pdf".
I usually move the splitter completely to the left and hide the icons, too, because I mostly only use "Hilghlight" and therefore I don't have to switch between different command and markup tools.
If the "Comment Styles Palette" is closed & reopened, then it moves the splitter back to it's original position:
see the screenshot in "Comment Styles Palette Settings - bad settings restored.pdf"
Anyway: thanks a lot for this wonderful & great tool!
Kind regards,
Tom
Thanks a lot!

Re: Thanks a lot!
Hello Tom,
Welcome to our forums and many thanks for your kind words!
While we don't have a "close application" button -pretty much all shortcut keys are customizable:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgebase/146
And you can assign e.g. Ctrl-Q to close all opened documents and then use Alt-F4 to close the Viewer itself.
The comments styles palette is currently being worked on and might change for the PDF-X Editor:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product ... nge-editor
So let's wait for the new build of the Editor and see what changes it would bring to this particular palette.
Best,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
thanks a lot for your fast answer!, I'll remap Alt-F4 to Ctrl-Q and I'm happy to wait for the next release.
Kind regards, Tom
