Embedded Hyperlink issue

Hi there,Running into a strange issue with an embedded link in a PDF. We have a MS Word 2007 template that saves a URL to a file directory in a word document and then saves the word document as a PDF on a remote drive.

When we open this PDF using PDFXView (2.5 Build 191) on the remote drive and click the Hyper link we get a msg:

"Attempting to open site: file://xxxx/xxx/file.PDF. Do you trust this site?"

Clicking Yes brings up an error:

"There was an error opening this document. The specified path is invalid."

Yet when I open the exact same file with Adobe Reader, click the URL, click through the Adobe version of the same warning ("The document is trying to connect to file://xxxx/xxx/file.PDF. If you trust the site, choose Allow") the file opens without issue.

Any idea what could be occuring that prevents PDFXChange Viewer from opening when Adobe Reader can open the file under the exact same criteria?

Thanks for the post - the first thing to try here, is to download and install the latest Version of the Viewer (Version 2.5 Build 210). Please copy/paste the following link into your browser address bar, to download the latest installer:
