Remove text in PDF and stamp rename

Hello

I have just bought PDF XChange Viewer Version 2.5. So I have some questions. Is it possible to change the text in Tracker stamps? I couldn't realise it. Second. How can I remove Text in a PDF. I saw a YouTube-Video but I didn't have the botton on my desk.

Hi Thomas,

thanks for the post and welcome. You cannot change the existing stamps directly in the Viewer. There are tools for creating new stamps either from a PDF or an image. You can take a look here for that: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... ps-Palette

For editing the text you have 2 options:

1. Use the Viewer to mask old content.
The Viewer cannot directly edit the base content of a PDF. This article shows how to use the commenting tools to mask over existing content: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowled ... F-document

2. Use the Editor.
Your new Viewer license will also unlock the Editor. Get it from the downloads page https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/downloads and use your Viewer serial key in the installer. With it you can directly edit the base content of a PDF. Not all the Viewer features are as yet in the Editor though these are coming. For now to get all the features available you can use both products. Soon all you will need is the editor as more and more of the Viewer features are migrated into it.
