Copy a whole PDF File and Paste on to Publisher
Working on a publication, Need to copy a PDf file that was sent to me- the whole thing not just pieces and place it in a Publishing file that I am working on. What is the best way to get this done?

Hi iaddison,
Thanks for the post, however, I'm not entirely sure what you mean here..... we have no control of PDF documents that are sent by other people or how they are handled.
Are you, perhaps, looking to merge multiple pages together?
Cheers,
Will

Maybe that is another way of doing it that I am not aware of. How do you merge a PDF document to a Publisher document- can it be done?

Re: Copy a whole PDF File and Paste on to Publisher
Hi iaddison,
I'm afraid that it isn't possible to merge two different, unrelated file types - they would be incompatible with one another and so you would find that the output document would be 'broken'.
You can, however, convert the Publisher document to PDF, then merge the two with PDF-Tools, but I'm guessing that's not what you're after?
Other than that, I'm afraid that there's nothing more that I can suggest.
Hope that helps!

Re: Copy a whole PDF File and Paste on to Publisher
I guess the best way is to use Publisher to import PDF file. For sure it is supported.
The Editor cannot do it.
