When I print to my other PDF apps using their printer driver, I am NOT prompted for a file name before the document gets presented and am only asked when I save or exit without saving. I find it annoying that when printing to 'Editor, I am prompted for a filename *before* the file displays.
Can this be changed at all or at least made a user option?
Thanks
DrT

Re: Enhancement request
Hi Dr. Teeth,
Thanks for the post - the closest thing that we have to this, would be to stop the Save As dialogue from appearing altogether, but I'm guessing that's not what you want? I can definitely put in a feature request for this.
Cheers,
Will

Re: Enhancement request
What I would like is that when I print to a PDF using the printer driver, the PDF opens in editor without any prompt to save a filename. I would only like to be prompted for a filename when I want to close Editor and there are unsaved changes to the file.
It sounds like stopping the save as dialogue appearing would fit the bill nicely. That way I can chose when to save - often, it is only after editing/annotating that I choose a filename.
Thanks

Re: Enhancement request
Hi Dr. Teeth,
I've just had a word with one of the Developers about this and it's not something that could be implemented with the Driver, but something similar is coming with the Editor - you'll be able to open, for example, a .jpg or .docx file, directly into the Editor and the converted document won't be saved unless you specify that you want to be (with the Save or Save As functions).
Currently, stopping the Save As dialogue from showing doesn't sound like it will do as you need, as it will automatically save the document with a filename and location that has be pre-defined within the driver preferences.
Cheers,
Will

Okay, got you now Will. The developer's idea sounds good.
With all the goodness coming to Editor, I will start to get impatient LOL.
With kindest regards

Re: Enhancement request (Quality Text to Speech Voices?)
Would you guys be willing to look at adding Acapela Voices as an additional purchase option?
I am Dyslexic, and I try to stay with the same voice for Text to Speech (Acapela Heather).
Thanks,

Hi tseubanks,
welcome to the forums and thanks for the post. I have added your request to the "Wish List" for new features. The development team leader will look into this as time allows and as we move forward with new features later in the year. This is not a promise to deliver said feature however know that your voice is heard (pun intended
) and your suggestion will be given due consideration.
