Re: Problems with PDF Object IDs
Hello steve,
I believe the above topic is for a separate "ID" issue, but please do provide a sample file, and confirm the exact build of our Viewer you are using (if using a build older than 2.5.204 - please update first as this might have already been fixed).
Best,
Stefan

Re: Problems with PDF Object IDs
Thanks for the updates, I'd also find this a v useful feature in your software to aid linking with Docear.

Another voice supporting this feature request for Docear users to be able to benefit the most out of this great PDF viewer!Paul - Tracker Supp wrote: I am pleased to be able to to say that this is now formally a Feature Request for V3 of the Viewer and while not yet a promise to deliver the chances are good that this will be done. Re: Problems with PDF Object IDs
I can only agree and do hope the PDF-XChange developers can solve this problem. PDF X-change is a wonderful tool, so is Docear and it would be a pitty if this problem would remain. Other pdf-readers, much less in quality then PDFX-Change, do not have this issue.emrea wrote:Hello all,
I am an avid user of PDFX-Change and Docear, and in fact I've been among those users who have been cheering for full compliance between Docear and PDFX-Change in Docear forums (even before it was called Docear). I have no clue on the technical details of the subject, and I understand that there are some hindrances beneath, but I heartily request from you technical people to provide a solution, or an option to "keep the object numbers" and make the best of two worlds for us the mortal users of both software
.
Thank you for such an excellent product,
Best wishes,
Ayca.

Re: Problems with PDF Object IDs
Hi Steve,
I believe this is a limitation of the current Viewer. I believe it is intended to address this after V3 is released in it's Gold form.
I'll have one of the dev team confirm/deny my assertion.

Re: Problems with PDF Object IDs
Dear Tracker team,
I also want to add my voice to this feature request. PDFXV is a great product - one of the first applications I install on any new computer. I have never looked back after leaving the bloated and sometimes misbehaving Acrobat Reader behind. In combination with Docear, PDFXV can be a first rate tool for learning and research and dealing with the ever increasing number of PDFs out there, so any improvement in compatibility would be greatly appreciated.
best regards
Edwin
